MemoryTester CPU Performance
These tests use the MemoryTester 'compute' command. MemoryTester is part of diglloydTools.
This is a pure compute test with no memory access.
Remarkably, the 2.3GHz MacBook Pro runs almost exactly the same speed as the 3.33GHz Mac Pro, showing that Turbo Boost is working extremely well, presumably at ~3.4 GHz. This explains why the 2.3GHz MacBook Pro does so well on so many of the tests.
