Bibble Pro 5.2.1 save 128 Canon 21-megapixel CR2 RAW files to 16-bit uncompressed TIF.

Bibble Pro does an outstanding job with multiple CPU cores. It is the program of choice for fast RAW processing. Anyone with time deadlines should be using Bibble Pro. The 12-core Mac Pro benefits by some performance tuning with extra I/O threads and in-flight processing. The 6-core did not benefit from additional threads.

The 2011 MacBook Pro is breathing hot on the heels of the 3.33GHz 6-core Mac Pro, being only 8% behind. Impressive.

The 2010 MacBook Pro take 122% longer (!) than the 2011 model.

Test machines used my preferred SSDs, see the test configuration. Hard drive users will see slightly degraded results over those shown here.
