2023 MacBook Pro M3 Max

The 2023 MacBook Pro M3 Max now rivals the 2023 Mac Pro M2 Ultra on most tasks, excepting a few tasks where the 24-core M2 Ultra can brute-force its way to a moderate advantage (24 vs 16 CPU cores).

Acoustics of the 2023 MacBook Pro M3 Max are not nice. Unless you must have a laptop, wait for the Mac Studio M3.

The feature set is as impressive as high end desktop computers:

The svelte 14-inch model packs the same capabilities as the 16-inch model, but it appears that this was more of a science fair experiment rather than something tolerable...
