MPG used SoftRAID 5.0.4 to initialize and test with the various flavors of RAID.
Since the unit was supplied for teesting with brand-new drives in packaging, so they were screwed into the drive sleds and installed. Then they were initialized as shown with the screen shots that follow. An off-the-shelf unit with drives installed has all this done already.
