Discussion
This set of tests with these Photoshop filters gives a general view of performance across a variety of tasks.
Results: Photoshop Filters
Tests performed on a 51-megapixel 16-bit image.
The 2019 Mac Pro with the AMD Radeon Pro 580X is generally slower than the 2019 iMac 5K with the AMD Radeon Pro Vega 48..
Since some of these tasks use the GPU and the AMD Radeon Pro 580X GPU in the 2019 Mac Pro always underperforms the AMD Radeon Pro Vega 48 in the 2019 iMac 5K, it is no surprise that the iMac 5K wins out.
