OS X Mavericks: Finder can now Unhide Library Folder
In the past couple of OS X releases, Apple hid the Library folder in the user’s home directory.
Many of the items in the Library folder are best left alone, but certain user-accessible data are also located there, such as user-generated color profiles.
Hiding the Library folder thus created a need for technical workarounds to access the hidden Library folder (not hard, but not easy for casual users).
There is now a special checkbox in Finder folder preferences to show the Library folder in one’s home folder.
