re: Why a Desktop Computer is Often Better than a Laptop

With no USB-A ports on the new laptops, you’ll want at the minimum something like the OWC USB-C Travel Dock.

For docked usage at home/office, the OWC Thunderbolt Dock or OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock (my preferred model). For multiple displays, something like the OWC Thunderbolt Dual DisplayPort Adapter.

You’ll want at least one backup drive. The ideal choice is an SSD whose capacity matches the internal SSD, and that’s relatively cost effective up to 4TB.
