OS X Mavericks: Not Recommended At Present

Well, I spoke too soon.

Mavericks has all sorts of new bugs ranging from annoying to nasty to broken APIs to crashes. It is at least as bad a case of Apple Core Rot as any prior release. I have not had time to write up the numerous problems and probably won’t anytime soon due to a heavy workload and travel plans.

Wait till 2014 to upgrade—it’s just not worth it.
