OWC sent me a Promise Pegasus J4 (Thunderbolt) for testing with both SSDs and hard drives. The 4-bay Promise Pegasus J4 is available as 0GB solution (you supply the drives) or a 2TB (4 X 500GB) solution at OWC.

How is the performance with 1/2/3/4 SSDs, and where is the sweet spot?
