About
This test is a real-world task relevant to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom: batch convert raw files to JPEG. Disk I/O is not a significant factor.
Raw file conversion to JPEG — Fujifilm GFX raw
Fujifilm GFX raw files are compressed and might be expected to reduce parallelism, but runtime gains are excellent.
Double the CPU cores makes for a substantial gain in speed with the 2019 iMac 5K, with the 2017 iMac 5K taking 83% longer. Awesome!
