It’s now mid December, and Apple still does not show pricing or availability on the 2013 Mac Pro (“Coming in December”). So one cannot even get a sense of pricing as configured with CPU/GPU/memory/SSD variations.
New technologies don’t always come together on schedule even for Apple, and with the Mac Pro utilizing Thunderbolt 2, one wonders if that might be involved.
Will it be 2014 before the new Mac Pro actually ships? Perhaps Apple will dribble out a few units this month, but it looks dubious for putting the new Mac Pro “into service” as needed for 2013 tax “bonus depreciation” for businesses (ends in 2013).
