“Great!” and “fantastic!” seems to be the theme. Weird that this thought had to be made explicit. But a hard working team can be understood for being proud of their work.

As for iOS 7, definitely some cool stuff there, very heavy on the eye candy and layering and transparency, but will it really improve the usability? Remains to be seeen. Probably will be some backward steps along with the improvements. What this portends for OS X remains to be seen (huge increases in eye candy coupled with arbitrary changes that break workflow productivity?).

Translucency is one of the troublesome features on OS X (Terminal for example), so I hope it plays out better on iOS. The WWDC video is hideously distracting in the way color blur blobs bleed through into the current screen. Maybe it’s just the video presentation.
