WWDC is Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, starting June 10, an opportune time for Apple to announce revised and updated laptop products and (drum roll please) a new Mac Pro. We shall see on the latter what’s been cooking.
The Intel Haswell processors are a new generation, TheVerge.com has a very good article on the significance.
In a nutshell, the new processors will for the first time deliver battery life that I would characterize as matching function to form, that is, road warriors and similar are likely to find few occasions to gripe about battery power. In theory at least.

Tim Cook last year promised a new Mac Pro for 2013. Could this be the time, finally, almost three years after the 2010 modest revision of the 2009 model?
