The June 2012 MacBook Pro USB3 ports are fast — very fast.

The OWC Elite Pro Mini SSD on the USB3 port is at least as fast (apparently faster) than the 3G SSDs I’ve tested on internal ports on the MacBook Pro and Mac Pro.
