Surprisingly, the 2019 iMac 5K wins out against the 2022 MacBook Pro M2 Max.
The M1 Max takes about the same as the M2 Max. Confidence is low because with every iteration, Photoshop eats up more and more memory, suggesting a memory leak that affects results—not possible to get a good test run.
The 2019 Mac Pro offers up a poor performance. From what I can tell in Activity Monitor, Photoshop puts all 28 CPU cores to use, but many cores are not accomplishing much.
