Retina Display for Graphs and Similar

The MacBook Pro Retina displays high resolution images impressively well.

See my cycling graphs for multiple examples of the display quality; the graph images are 2800 pixels wide, but are displayed in a 1400-pixel-wide box, which exploits the full resolution of the Retina display.

The Apple iPad Retina mangles some high-res images, but not Mac OS X on the MacBook Pro— on the MBP Retina they are stunningly good.
