Price Drop for 8GB Modules for MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro

Prices just dropped substantially on 8GB SO-DIMMs for the Apple MacBook Pro and Apple iMac. With 8GB modules, the MacBook Pro can go to 16GB, and the iMac can go to 32GB. Buyers should be aware that there are lower priced kits out there that take shortcuts on design. Not for me.

The price of a 24GB kit for the Mac Pro has dipped again to about $374, making 24GB for a Mac Pro a no-brainer.

All the memory in my numerous Macs is from Other World Computing (OWC). I buy all my memory like everyone else, and OWC is the vendor I personally trust, which is why it is one of the few advertisers I allow on this site.
