Bottom Near for MacBook Pro Memory Prices?

Apple memory remains expensive, for more on that topic, see my Jan 28 entry. And Apple does not offer a 16GB option for the MacBook Pro, so get the minimum from Apple, and save a bundle with OWC memory.

Price trends below also apply to current iMac memory and MacMini memory, which use the exact same memory modules.

It appears that the price-drop trend is over, though with fiat currencies ready to collapse around the world, who knows?

A 16GB kit now starts to look more feasible for power users than it did a few months ago. It is also possible to go with 12GB memory as one 8GB module and one 4GB module.
