In Transit for Testing: Intel 510 SATA III 6 Gbps SSD

I’ve ordered the Intel 510 250GB 6Gbps SSD for testing (about $650 from Amazon).

I’ll put the Intel 512 250GB SSD through its paces and see how it holds up under severe duty as well. I’m also particularly interested in seeing how it performs on the 2011 MacBook Pro (see review), since the 2011 MBP has a SATA 6Gbps port.

According to Intel—

The product is available now and comes in a 250GB capacity priced at $584 and a 120GB at $284, for 1,000 unit quantities.
