How to subscribe to an RSS feed

Like most sites, this site publishes an RSS feed. Depending on the browser you use, the display of the feed icon. Safari and Firefox show it like this:
There are many ways to view an RSS feed. The simplest one is to view it right in your web browser, by clicking the icons shown at right.

Subscribing to an RSS feed in Apple Mail
If you are using Mac Mail, you can subscribe to a feed by first viewing it (click the RSS feed icon shown above), then choosing . as shown below.
The feed then shows up in Mac Mail just like an email message does
